Your Warranty



Thank you for purchasing your product from Phone Mountain.

The limited warranty applies to the physical smartphone(s)/tablet(s), and only for the physical smartphone(s)/tablet(s) purchased directly from Phone Mountain. 


This warranty covers against defects in non-consumable hardware (e.g. camera’s and charging ports), excluding chipsets, when used in accordance with Apple's/Samsung’s user manuals, technical specifications and other Apple/Samsung product published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original purchase on Phone Mountain by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period").

During the Warranty Period, Phone Mountain will repair or replace, at no charge, products or parts of the product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.


Your warranty is for 60 days on all phone batteries as incorrect charging can defect your battery quicker, we advise all customer to fully charge up to 100% prior to its first use. Then let your battery go totally flat before the second charge,then carry out another 100% charge.


This warranty will not apply to any smartphone(s) or tablet(s) that has been returned with an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number that does not match the original IMEI on the product purchased from Phone Mountain.

This warranty does not apply:

(1) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship within 30 days after the date of original purchase directly from Phone Mountain;
(2) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake or other external cause;
(3) damage or any screen problems outside the 30 day money back guarantee period for returns. Any fault to the screen must be reported within a month;
(4) any external superficial damage to casing, lens cover, buttons or charging port outside the 30 day money back guarantee period for returns. Any fault relating to these must be reported within a month;
(5) to damage caused by service, or inspection (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Phone Mountain, Apple or Samsung (with proof);
(6) to an Apple/Samsung Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability;
(7) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Apple/Samsung Product;
(8) if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Apple/Samsung Product; or
(9) if the device has been opened up by anyone who is not a representative of Phone Mountain.
(10) if Phone Mountain receives information from relevant public authorities that a product that has been returned, has been stolen or if you are unable to deactivate passcode-enabled or other security measures designed to prevent unauthorised access to the Apple/Samsung Product, and you cannot prove in any way that you are the authorised user of the product (eg. by presenting proof of purchase).


If your Apple/Samsung Product is capable of storing software programs, data and other information, you should make periodic backup copies of the information contained on your Apple/Samsung Product’s storage media to protect the contents and as a precaution against possible operational failures. 

Before submitting your Apple/Samsung Product for warranty service you should make separate backup copy of the contents of its storage media, remove all personal information and disable all security passwords. The contents of your Apple/Samsung Product’s storage media may be erased, replaced and/or reformatted in the course of service.


If during the warranty period you submit a claim during the warranty period this warranty, Phone Mountain will, at its option:

  • repair the product using new parts from third party suppliers, or
  • replace the product with the same model (or with your consent a product that has similar functionality) formed from new and/or previously used parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability, or
  • refund your purchase price in exchange for the return of your product purchased from Phone Mountain, within the first 30 days after original purchase.

 When a product or part is replaced or a refund provided, any replacement item becomes your property and the replaced or refunded item becomes Phone Mountain’s property.

A replacement part or product or a repaired product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product or ninety (90) days from the date of replacement or repair, whichever provides longer coverage for you.

Before receiving a warranty service, Phone Mountain may require that you respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues that may not require a full service and follow instructions on how to obtain the warranty service if required.


A) Entire agreement:

All warranties, conditions and other terms not set out in this warranty document are excluded from the Phone Mountain One-Year Limited Warranty. As a result, Phone Mountain does not make any other promises, conditions or warranties about the service other than set out in this warranty document.

 B) Disclaimer in relation to data:

Phone Mountain does not warrant, represent or undertake that it will be able to repair or replace any Apple/Samsung Product under this warranty without risk to and / or loss of information and / or data stored on the Apple/Samsung Product.

 C) Limitation of liability:

Phone Mountain is not responsible for damage which is not Phone Mountain’s fault or any loss of data. If you are an entrepreneur, Phone Mountain is also not responsible for loss of benefits or profits.
